I'm still learning new trafshow ;) IMHO trafshow was designed to keeping one eye on network status. There are dozens other programs to do detailed view/anaysis. I think most of new capabilities of new version are uimportant for me. My first impressions was - screen bloated by all protocols on wire (I've just learned: it has tcpdump-like filter). More details: - Lack of sorting of transfer/speed - Only one option for expired data "-P" vs two for display & statistics table - Lack of separate option for sliding window speed calculation - current behaviour is even undocumented - Two lines split of both directions of connection - inefficient use of a screen (yes I know its display is scrollable but this isn't an aswer for dissadvantages). Yes I know 1.3 is on old and probably unreviewed code. Only few linux distributions keep this version :( Mirek -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
