mutt says: | Deletion of attachments from encrypted messages is unsupported. but it is only a signed message, not a encrypted one. Please support deleting attachments from signed messages or at least fix this error-message. Of course you would lose the signature, but mutt users should know what they do (at least after "Are you really sure, this will ...[yN]?"). Trying to delete the signature leads to the same error message. My mutt version is 1.5.16-2~heyc1, which is a, propably rather outdated, backport from experimental, including the glorious chdir-patch.
