Well, it's libtool related, but it's not accidental. src/lib/Makefile has what they're doing - they call libtool with --release, rather than --version-info, which has subtly wierd semantics about the result. > Theoretically the upstream might actually want to start shipping out > one of those two as a real shared library, but wanting is one thing...
