Package: apt-listbugs
Version: 0.0.88
Severity: wishlist

Hi!

It would be very useful (in order to implement the aptcleanup redesign
I proposed in bug #473175) if apt-listbugs had a new command named
"query", with the following behavior.

   ยท  query  <package[/version]>  <bugnumber1> <bugnumber2>...   Reads
      a package name from the first argument and bug numbers from the
      remaining arguments; lists given bugs and their status with respect
      to the package. Package version may be specified with a slash, for
      example, like apt/1.0

An example output could be something like:

# apt-listbugs -y -q query fontconfig/2.5.0-2 446124 402014
grave bugs of fontconfig (2.4.2-1.2 -> 2.5.0-2) <done>
 #446124 - ttf-opensymbols: fails to install on etch (Fixed: fontconfig/2.5.0-1)
serious bugs of fontconfig (2.4.2-1.2 -> 2.5.0-2) <done>
 #402014 - defoma, fontconfig: integration is broken, brokes updates of font
packages (Fixed: fontconfig/2.5.0-1)
Summary:
 0 bugs affect fontconfig/2.5.0-2

and something like:

# apt-listbugs -y -q query apt/0.7.11 465241 466052
critical bugs of apt (0.7.9 -> 0.7.11) <done>
 #466052 - installation-reports: GRUB installation failed (Fixed: apt/0.7.11)
grave bugs of apt (0.7.9 -> 0.7.11) <pending>
 #465241 - bibtex2html has been installed with an unmet dependency
Summary:
 1 bugs affect apt/0.7.11

Could you please implement this feature?
Thank you very much for considering.
