I have build the etch.tgz just a few days ago with pbuilder --create .... > [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc# ls -l /etc/localtime > lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 Apr 22 15:12 /etc/localtime -> > /usr/share/zoneinfo/UTC > [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc# cat /etc/timezone > UTC On my sid system /etc/localtime is no link but a file.
