Package: ifupdown
Version: 0.6.8+nmu1
Severity: important

After installing the lenny/testing (via netinstall image) , i found that there
is no 'standard' entry for lo
(
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
)
in /etc/network/interfaces, causing lookups to 'localhost' and connections to
127.0.0.1:23456 to fail.
Also, in this case 'ifconfig -a' does not show the lo interface.

Regards,

   Vincent
