Sorry for the long delay. My Debian Sid laptop (a ThinkPad T23) where I had the problem died (God bless it). While I could still test on other laptops (obviously, it needs a PCMCIA slot), I have no other Debian Sid or unemployed laptop to test this (I use a laptop running Ubuntu Jaunty, though). Do you think of another method I could test this? If not, you may close this bug.
