This should not matter because /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/udev copies /sbin/blkid anyway. Also, on my system the file is correctly named /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/utillinux, please upgrade to 2.16.1-4. Please also make sure that you have the latest release of update-initramfs installed. > I still have booting problem so this still seems it is a udev issue as yet.
