Perhaps you didn't notice there one bépo user near you ? Yes, we're a small
community, but if you restrict to the Linux and moreover Debian users, I think
it's not neglectable… but your mileage may vary, comme on dit !

I didn't know the initrd constraint :-(

At the end of Squeeze install, we have to choose a keyboard layout for
console-setup, and the Bépo keyboard is available, but the problem remains for
the start of install… and the Bépo layout is so different from another one,
it's very difficult to type a root password in the wrong layout ! I use this
layout since 2 or 3 years, and if I can type without looking at the keyboard,
I've absolutely forgotten the azerty layout, and can't remember its layout.

Too bad, the system was indeed interesting, to have only one configuration for
console and X.

Yes, but perhaps the xkeyboard-config maintainer waits for Xorg release before
to update its package… I'll wait a bit and suggest update if nothing happens.
