Package: libsane
Version: 1.0.21-1
Severity: normal

The scanner works with the old 'epson' backend, but not with 'epson2'
although it should have complete support by both backend.

Steps to reproduce (I had to re-enable epson in dll.conf):
$ scanimage -vvvv -L
device `epson2:libusb:007:004' is a Epson Perfection640 flatbed scanner
device `epson:libusb:007:004' is a Epson Perfection640 flatbed scanner
Calling sane_exit
scanimage: finished
$ scanimage -vvvv -d epson:libusb:007:004 -T
scanimage: scanning image of size 632x879 pixels at 1 bits/pixel
scanimage: acquiring gray frame, 1 bits/sample
scanimage: reading one scanline, 79 bytes... PASS
scanimage: reading one byte...          PASS

Calling sane_exit
