Hi Sorry apologies, very light on the information. I did an upgrade of slapd and when slapd went to start there were errors could not start expecting version xxx and found version xxxx. At that point I guessed it was the libdb package needed to be brought into line with slapd. Once I loaded that it started - I had some other problems but did not investigate any further.
