I haven't received any response from Y Giridhar Appaji Nag and wanted to give them a chance to respond. If you want to do the upload you have my blessing. I have a fair bit of load on my shoulders these days, additionally if I'd done the NMU I would check the other bugs too to see wether there are others to do in the same upload, so it might take a bit until I get around to doing so.
