Sorry, its not easy to concentrate just on the facts for the bug report at 
times when software just doesn't work for me. I do spend much time on 
detailed bug reports and most of my post you refer to was constructive. I 
reported the issue upstream! And there detailed feedback would be more 
approbiate.

Yes, I am frustrated with the situation at times. Actually cause it seems 
I have to use Network Manager in order for quite some KDE application to 
properly detect online status. I tried wicd, but the gtk gui of it didn't 
respond to mouse clicks at all. When I would have found an alternative to 
network manager actually I think I would be using it already.

Its understandable that you are frustrated as well given the long list of 
unresolved bug reports for network manager. But if you insist on taking 
just the frustration, and not the constructive feedback I provided, then 
thats your choice.
