Sorry, its not easy to concentrate just on the facts for the bug report at times when software just doesn't work for me. I do spend much time on detailed bug reports and most of my post you refer to was constructive. I reported the issue upstream! And there detailed feedback would be more approbiate. Yes, I am frustrated with the situation at times. Actually cause it seems I have to use Network Manager in order for quite some KDE application to properly detect online status. I tried wicd, but the gtk gui of it didn't respond to mouse clicks at all. When I would have found an alternative to network manager actually I think I would be using it already. I think its understandable that I am frustrated. Its understandable that you are frustrated as well given the long list of unresolved bug reports for network manager.
