That change was reverted in netbase 4.42, which is available in Debian stable, testing and unstable. What is the content of /etc/sysctl.d/bindv6only.conf? What does dpkg -S /etc/sysctl.d/bindv6only.conf returns? And dpkg -l netbase? I confirm the file /etc/sysctl.d/bindv6only.conf contains: net.ipv6.bindv6only = 1 on my machine. It was created by a netbase upgrade and never got deleted. Removing it should work. Could you please confirm? If it does, then I'll probably upload a new version of omniorb with Duncan suggested fix.
