Package: lintian
Version: 2.4.3
Severity: normal

Lintian 2.4.3 (also tested 2.5.0) tries to call a "fail()" subroutine in
certain conditions, however no such routine has ever been declared, and so the Perl code crashes.

To reproduce, a simple method is in using the --tags-from-file or
--suppress-tags-from-file command-line options with a file that doesn't exist.

For example:

$ lintian --tags-from-file slkfjsf
Undefined subroutine &main::fail called at /usr/bin/lintian line 281.
