Package: arno-iptables-firewall Version: 2.0.0.a-2 Severity: normal
I just discovered that new version of arno-iptables-firewall 2.0.0.b-1 has dependency on rsyslog. Is this really needed by upstream? I know that rsyslog is standard logging solution for Debian but we have plenty of others included. Problem is obvious. When you use different logging demon you are not able to use arno-iptables-firewall starting with this update. Please remove dependency on rsyslog (maybe put to recommends?) as this excellent firewall solution will be unusable for many of us. I'm using arno on dozens of servers where is syslog-ng installed and needed.
