I thought that I had replied to the previous message (to Jérémy) saying that I did want to have that extension in Debian (mostly because I value more the GPG chain/web-of-trust that we built than downloading an extension from some site). And, to be honest, the programs that I uploaded to my PPA are really meant to be *Debian* packages, as that's what I use directly. The side-effect of benefiting those that use Ubuntu is just a result of that... >> Would you be interested in maintaining this package in Debian? > > I'd be very happy, too, if you would do so. I think that, in general, almost all, if not all, xulrunner applications can benefit from https-everywhere. > Oh, and in the case you lost interest in it, I'd also continue your > packaging efforts (very likely under the head of the > pkg-mozext-maintainers group) as I really would like to see that > package in Debian. As I am only a Debian maintainer, I don't have permission to write to your repositories, but if you could add me (my alioth username is rbrito-guest), that would be cool. I don't know if you have any preferences/standards, but I like to use the following workflow with my packages: http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=collab-maint/youtube-dl.git;a=commitdiff;h=e93e4d7 I hope that you like that.
