I've noticed some changes last Friday as well ;-) Thanks for the summary of what has to be taken care of. For upstream, it would be nice to still have support for older versions as well. Do you have any recommendations how to check for the version? Using the macro NOTIFY_CHECK_VERSION() (notify-features.h) sounds like the best solution to me. I'll upload a new version addressing all outstanding RC bugs today or tomorrow.
