I was able to track down the cause of this failure last night, and the reason was that 'dpkg -l' cut package names short if the COLUMNS environment variable was too short. Restarting nrpe in a terminal with a higher COLUMNS value would cause the check to start working. A fix is commited to svn. Would you like to keep this bug report open while we wait for the configuration to be moved to /etc/nagios/nrpe.d/, or close it as the reason you reported has been fixed? If you want to close it, please change the title. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
