 Is it somehow possible to revive libkrb4.so.2 and libdes425.so.3 for
transitional purposes, ship them in the libkrb53 package and make that
depend on the others that got split off? That sounds like the only
solution that comes to my mind.

 The only other thing would be explicitly mentioning workarounds for the
packages affected by this in the release notes. For postgresql that
would mean suggesting to users to pull the postgresql-8.4 version from
lenny-backports to be able to have 8.3 and 8.4 installed side-by-side,
do the upgrade of the cluster and data migration, and _afterwards_ do
the complete upgrade to squeeze which will remove postgresql-8.3 because
of the Breaks.

 Me neither unfortunately, so for the time being I guess we at least
have to prominently document the missing transition path and breakage
this imposes on other packages.
