Generally speaking, so far, errors discovered in the test suite have always been problems with the kernel (either the version, or the arch). keyutils just returns whatever the syscall returns. I'm a bit confused: the attached log for armhf does not match the output below, so I assume the output below is for amd64? > [...] > Running with session keyring RHTS/keyctl/16462 > Joined session keyring: 452861916 > === /«PKGBUILDDIR»/tests/keyctl/add/bad-args/test.out === > +++ CHECK EMPTY KEY TYPE > +++ CHECK UNSUPPORTED KEY TYPE > +++ CHECK INVALID KEY TYPE > FAILED [...] > I also tried on amd64, it fails as well. A rebuild with sbuild on my host with a 3.16 kernel and a jessie chroot succeeded without issue. Could you post the output of tests/keyctl/add/badd-args/test.out, and the kernel version on which this was built? Regarding the attached armhf log: the error is similar to #757530 (it's another test, though). In that case, the syscall failed as expected, but it just returned the wrong error code. As this was a non-yet-official arm64 + custom kernel build, and it went away with a newer kernel on the official buildds, I assumed it had something to do with that custom kernel. Here, too, the output of the test.out file would be very helpful. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
