Package: ruby-eventmachine
Severity: serious
Justification: MIA request

Dear Ruby-Extras Team,

During housekeeping work for the MIA team I came accross this package.
It made me wonder whether it still maintained by the team, as there is
an unreplied-to (RC) bug since more than 1/2 year and there is a new
upstream version waiting since 6 Aug 2015 (release date of the next
version upstream)

Also, from the 5 listed maintainers, two have asked to be removed, one
maintainers has his last upload 2014, another one Dec 2016...

If your team still maintains this package, please close this bug.
Otherwise I will orphan the package in exactly 3 months.

Hi Tobias,

thanks for your concern. As so often, the ruby-team is somewhat
understaffed with active maintainers.

Newer upstream versions of ruby-eventmachine segfault, see upstream
https://github.com/eventmachine/eventmachine/issues/670

The other open rc-bug is trivial to fix and while it's technically
rc, it doesn't affect building on buildds, ...

Chris
