Aren't they both using the same backend? ldac/aptx weren't in pulseaudio for a long time, but they are now. Or is there something else?

Pipewire has AAC, but not in Debian because libfdk-aac is still considered non-free by us while everyone else, including the FSF, consider it free.

but that wouldn't be a distinction between pulseaudio and pipewire in debian, right?
