Well, your bug report shows there are still people using dselect..:-) It's of course not a big surprise that dselect doesn't support multiarch. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be many people wanting to *maintain* dselect, so I suspect this bug report to remain opened for a very long time, probably until someone decides that keeping an unmaintained softwar ein the archive is not worth it.
