Package: elpa-rg Version: 2.3.0-1 Severity: normal The test suite currently fails on this package, and those failures have been ignored in debian/rules to get the package to build at all.
The package *works*: i've been using it as is, in bookworm, for months now. It *might* actually be broken in unstable, but I doubt it: i suspect this is more a test harness problem than anything else. So I'm filing this issue to remember about this problem and possibly see if we can collaborate with upstream to fix it. -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.5 APT prefers stable-security APT policy: (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable-debug'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental'), (1, 'unstable'), (1, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.6.13+bpo-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=fr_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages elpa-rg depends on: ii dh-elpa-helper 2.0.16 ii elpa-wgrep 3.0.0-1 ii emacsen-common 3.0.5 ii ripgrep 13.0.0-4+b2 Versions of packages elpa-rg recommends: ii emacs 1:28.2+1-15 ii emacs-gtk [emacs] 1:28.2+1-15 elpa-rg suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
