--- Begin Message ---Package: live-helper Version: 1.0~a7-1 Severity: wishlist Hi! lh_bootstrap fails when the partition where lies "debian-live/chroot" is mounted with the "nodev" option. This is not a problem per se, but a test at the beginning of the helper would be be better than a hard to understand failure. :) Cheers, -- Jérémy Bobbio .''`. --- Begin Message ---Hi Jeremy, as you most likely have seen, debootstrap was fixed to fail on nondev mounted filesystems. live-helper switched quite some time ago to use debootstrap per default, not cdebootstrap anymore. Now that debootstrap is properly team-maintained, I'm tempted to actually drop cdebootstrap support anyway, there are no benefits of it over debootstrap anymore (except the -static thing). However, I'm closing this bug report now.
