Click "View", then "Zoom". A seriously broken window appears from which it is impossible to do anything (let alone zoom the display). The window can be closed, but you cannot zoom. This makes checking the presence of small characters (like periods and commas, which are often too small to be seen on an "unzoomed" screen) very difficult.
