Hi, please allow git-buildpackage into testing. The changes between 0.4.36 and 0.4.40 were mostly documentation and bugfixes. 0.4.40 is needed to work properly with Git 1.6 (which plenty of people will switch to during lenny's lifecycle). Cheers, -- Guido
