Assuming you're using a stock kernel or kernel with support for IP masquerading, these three lines should get you started with masq:
/bin/echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward /sbin/ipchains -P forward REJECT /sbin/ipchains -I forward -s 192.168.1.0/24 -d ! 192.168.1.0/24 -j MASQ You may need to change that last line, depending on what internal IP addresses you use. As far as firewalling is concerned, there's an excellent "howto" guide available on ipchains at http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/.
