Hi Alexandre,

My name is Jeremy and I'd like to offer you my support and assistance in your efforts to package and maintain AdminerEvo if that's of any use to you?

FWIW I am a core developer in a Debian derivative project named TurnKey Linux[1][2].

We currently use Adminer (as packaged by you) in many of our "software appliances" - e.g. our LAMP appliance[3].

I only just realised that upstream seems to have abandoned it and I finally managed to find my way here...

For background and context, as part of my role in TurnKey, I maintain an apt repo[4] for our custom packages.

I'm certainly no packaging expert and have never been involved in formal Debian packaging before. My plan has always been to get more involved in Debian packaging and perhaps even bring some of our custom packages into Debian too. Unfortunately, I've never made the time (we're a small team with 100+ appliances)...

I must admit that my packaging knowledge is quite adhoc, with lots of gaps I am sure. Also, maintaining our own repo (and never being involved with official Debian packages) means that I probably have some bad practices...

Helping an experienced maintainer with a single package such as this, seems like a good way to learn the ropes and contribute something back directly to Debian.

So if you are open to and/or desire some assistance, I'd be glad to help (and learn a bit...). If not, that's fine too.

Take care and thanks for your contributions to Debian.

Warm Regards,
Jeremy
