Greetings everyone! My name is Lucious Daniels Jr. and I would like to help contribute to the Fedora project. A little background about myself, I have been using Linux about six years and I have enjoyed the freedom and fun it has brought to my computing experience. I studied computer art (3D/Gaming) in college and that's also where I started getting into computer hardware and custom building. After having trouble landing a job in the art field, I switched my focus more to the IT/technical route. Today I have a system administration position (in a Windows environment) for a county government. I'm recently Linux+ certified so maybe there's a Linux position in my future. I still enjoy using graphic software like Gimp and Inkscape. I've even used them at work, from time to time, for special projects. Joining the Design Team would give me the opportunity to improve my skills with the open-source graphical tools and give back to Fedora. Perhaps badges would be a good place to start.
My history with Fedora is rather short, but I have found it to be a nice blend of stability vs. leading edge. I find the community knowledgeable and welcoming. Most of my Linux experience is with the Debian/Ubuntu base, so it's been fun learning RedHat/Centos way of things.
