Hi Walter, I can select or unselect "Main Toolbar" in the view menu of Nautilus' main window. I also can change sort or display order in Nautilus' main window. Both has no influence on Nautilus' (or does that dialog belong to Gnome?) File Open dialog. I'm referring to the dialog that appears when you hit Ctrl+O in gEdit, gnumeric, gimp or any other application. Hope that clarifies it.
