It looks like Ubuntu Dock (which inherits from dash-to-dock) has its own zero-based numbering. Try changing this number:
gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.dash-to-dock preferred- monitor 0 or just go to "Settings > Appearance" and select your preferred monitor there. I don't think this sounds like a bug because it seems to be designed to ignore the "primary" monitor setting. ** Tags added: multimonitor ** Summary changed: - Activities panel on wrong display + Ubuntu Dock on wrong display ** Package changed: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) => gnome-shell-extension- ubuntu-dock (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1922298 Title: Ubuntu Dock on wrong display To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock/+bug/1922298/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
