My solution is: run synaptic, delete all the libreoffice packages. (not the fonts or uno-related packages) Go to libreoffice.org and download the latest. Unpack it % cd <topdir>/DEBS % dpkg -i *.deb desktop*/*.deb
LibreOffice runs!
