Probably you were in a release before libreoffice-dictionaries took over
and is now shipping mythes-es.  At least ubuntu 16.04 (xenial, released
a month after your bug report) has it.

Bug description:
  I want to add a Spanish thesaurus. I want to use it with Lyx 2.1 in
  Ubuntu 14, but the only packages available are

  mythes-ca mythes-de mythes-en-au mythes-fr mythes-it mythes-pl mythes-ru 
mythes-sv
  mythes-cs mythes-de-ch mythes-en-us mythes-hu mythes-ne mythes-ro mythes-sk

  Any suggestion on how to do it? There are a lot more in the Debian
