One thing to protect your speakers. It's a 6W amplifier so the default gain may 
be too much. I didn't dump the registers in windows yet, but in the limited 
sound on c940 issue ( https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205755 ) they 
write about 11 dB for a 2W bass speaker.
I think that's a different amplifier, so the register values may not match.
Please add
i2cset -y 3 0x48 0x3 0x00
to your script until the windows dump is done.
