Title: Image Viewer complains about malformed jpg file, yet Gimp and Firefox display the file just fine. Status in “eog” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Screen shot attached. Summary says it all, I think. Image viewer is doing a test that other programs are not. Either they are all wrong or the test is unneeded in image viewer.
