Title:
Can not connect to WLAN via BCM4306 adapter

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I just installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my Presario laptop, wiping XP off; previously
it connected fine, but now will not connect (wireless network); ethernet card
light on computer will not light up. I've entered network name, encryption
key, everything I can think of, but Ubuntu insists that card is disabled, and
I'm offline. When I click on Network Manager, wireless network is greyed, not
allowing me to click on it, though I can edit settings in Network Connection in
icon at top left under System.
Router is on, and running another computer on XP; ideas as to why this isn't
working?
