Hi, I just noticed a potential performance improvement with omitting checking if SM is on [1] - it isn't documented, yet by adding "-Dognl.security.manager=forceDisableOnInit" JVM parameter, OGNL will skip a bit of boilerplate. I did that here [2] to test the performance gain.
