CALL FOR:
Adding jgroups multicast implementation to the contributions CVS

Called by: Pierre van Rooden/Nadia Poulou

I am resuming the call for the Multicast implementation based on JGroups, as originally proposed by Nadia Poulou.
This vote is similar to the original. Please read up on that vote if needed at:

http://lists.mmbase.org/arc/developers/msg11964.html

The following changes are made to this vote:

1. it will not be included directly in the core but in applications, under 'jgroups' (or a similar name, i.e. reliableMulticast)
2. it will not include the jgroups source;
3. whether it will be included in the mmbase distributions is as yet undecided.
4. the package will be renamed to org.mmbase.module.core.change.jgroups.* or something similar.

The exact package or application name is up to the original caller of the vote, but I suggest the above names as they are likely the most clear. I also suggest to remove the "JG" pre/postfix in the class name as they are redundant but again, that is up to the original caller.
