Hi all, For many years, we have been referring people to ESR's "how to ask smart questions"[1] when think they asked a not-so-smart question. I believe this document[2] by Jon Skeet -- a person who essentially became famous by answering programming questions -- should take that document's place in our minds, because it is far more accessible, shorter, polite, and most importantly -- goes the extra step and reminds answerers that they, too, should behave.
When referencing it, specifically, use https://codeblog.jonskeet.uk/2018/03/17/stack-overflow-culture/#covenant to link directly to the covenant -- although the reasoning behind it is well worth reading from time to time. Have fun, Shai.
