Sam Houston State University will be working with several partners in Texas to study the food web structure of Sabine Lake, Texas from April-November 2018. Several methods, including stable isotope analysis and stomach content analysis will be used for the project. As a bi-product of sampling, the carcasses of many fishes may be unused after gut and tissue extraction.
