REQ details as follows: Title: SAS Analyst ( not just programmer) Location: San jose CA. Duration: 6+ months Skills : The candidate must show ability to quickly understand business requirements and map these requirement to data sources available. This requires demonstrated technical skills in STATISTICS, SQL, SAS (UNIX), SAS MACROS, and Excel PIVOT TABLES/CHARTS. Interpersonal, communication skills, and the ability to work in a diverse team environment is a must. Work with a variety of cross-functional teams and/or multiple projects and initiatives. Work extensively with internal partners around the world and across different properties. · Strong technical skills with the ability to translate complex transactional data into valuable analytical and insightful information. · The candidate must also excel in project management, business analysis, & problem solving. · Proficient using SQL on a data warehouse environment (preferably Teradata) Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of key financial calculations required. · BA/BS in Computer Science, Management Information System or equivalent.
