There are 3 or 4 education events it might be worth considering in the
UK

FLOSSIE in July which I organise and OOo has an informal presence anyway
because of that

The Education Show in March but given the time I think we would have to
look at 2007

Specialist Schools conference in November - as a company we go there
annually because I know a lot of the headteachers that go there too. I
have given out OOo discs but never any reall formal focused OOo
presence.

BETT - January - Just gone. We were there on OpenForum Europe's stand
with INGOTs and it does seem to have been useful in generating interest
and leads.

Apart from FLOSSIE, all the others are likely to cost around £1500 for a
booth unless as we did with BETT its possible to get on someone else's
stand. FLOSSIE is simple, if we have people willing to take a booth
there I can give it free space. I will be at the others most probably
with INGOTs so I will be busy all the time but I can provide advice if
it helps.
