hi, i'm trying to repair a corrupted db for firebird 2.5.2, the database file is of about 30 gb.
i have disconnected all the user, i did a copy of the file and then i executed the command gfix -validate 'dbname' with the credentials of the user that created the db (not the sysdba) now the gfix process is 90 minutes that is on 0 cpu usage and 1 mb of ram but the firebird process sometime works, is the gfix process freezed or it's normal? can i terminate it and retry or maybe this can add other problems to my database file? thanks
