Hello All
This is just a quick note to advise all Flex enthusiasts that the product is
now available for sale in Australia (and can be shipped to other parts of
Oceania as well)
The Radio Exchange website (at www.vk3ajj.com) now has a page dedicated to Flex
radio and product availability and pricing is listed thereon.
I of course have purchased a Flex for use in my own remote station project -
with a view to replacing the TS2000 I have online there. The TS2000 is
fantastic when it comes to remote control functionality - but I do find its HF
receiver performance wanting. It is hoped that the SDR will give me similar
control functionality but more importantly a boost in HF receiver performance.
If there are any VKs / ZLs who are already using the product and would be
interested in assisting me with testamonials and the odd technical enquiry as I
move through my initial learning phase - that would be great.
I apologise in advance to other forum members around the world to whom this
post is is somewhat irrelevant - but considered the availability of the Flex
product in Australasia to be sufficiently newsworthy to merit inclusion on the
discussion forum
In consideration of other forum members in other parts of the world - this will
be my one and only post on this topic - and would request that any related
correspondence be sent to my directly (rather than posting here)
