Hi Scott,

A few weeks ago I noticed something unusual when stopping PowerSDR and shutting it down that might be related. Because I recently installed a different computer to handle Flex duties in my station I have been watching DPC latency fairly closely on the new system to see how it behaves. Initially, about 50% of the time I would see an enormous DPC latency spike for several seconds when stopping and shutting down PowerSDR. I typically ran in "safe-mode 1" with my old system, but had to run this system in "safe-mode 2" to eliminate random unstable behavior such as PowerSDR occasionally shutting down when exiting the setup menu until I found the driver(s) that were causing the issue. (Upgrading the motherboard chipset drivers eliminated the DPC latency issue.) I wonder if perhaps you might be experiencing a similar period of DPC high latency that is causing PowerSDR to shut down a bit ungracefully, and perhaps without writing to the database when it closes. It's just a thought, and simple enough to check by moving to a more conservative safe mode setting. If you are at "Normal" try moving it a notch to "safe-mode 1" to see if it resolves it. You might even find it more useful to start with "safe-mode 3" and work in the other direction to see if it resolves the problem.

Any ideas? Would resetting to factory defaults fix the anomaly?
