Try verifying that the system files are not damaged by running sfc
/scannow in a command windows with admin rights.
The sfc utility will scan your system files and attempt to repair any
damage that it finds. Note that it might ask you for the Windows 7
distribution media in order to carry out these repairs.

Hi all,
I'm having a problem where when I turn on my flex 3000 I get a BSOD.
This all started a couple of weeks ago. We had a thunderstorm and lost
power. Coax cables where disconnected, but computer and rig still on.
I started getting strange issues where I would come to the shack and
find the monitor with gibberish on it. That escalated to the computer
completely locking up. This is a 2009 Neil built computer with no
issues until now. today the computer locked up several times(of course
during the vhf contest)so I decided to look inside. A bit of gunk on
the heat sink so I blew it out cleaned it all up. Put it all back
together and still lock ups. I defraged the drive, same issue except
now windows would not start. had to run chkdsk and chkdsk /r and
fixboot to repair that problem. Now computer runs fine. Runs logging
program etc. When I turn on the 3000 I get a BSOD
Driver_IRQL_NOT_EQUAL_OR_EQUAL. cHANGED fw CABLES SAME THING. Any help
appreciated.
