1. You may want to also save the files from FM 7 in MIF format. This gives you the potential for fixing things, and also does a MIF-Wash when you read them into the latest version - this assumes, of course, that the latest version of FM does not have difficulty with old MIF formatted files for some reason! Of course, you must save a clean backup of the FM7 files (which are TESTED to read back into FM 7 properly!) before proceeding with ANY updates!
