NOTE: I've never tried anything like this. Hopefully someone else can chime in here. I think I would try this: - make buildworld; make buildkernel on the fast box - copy over /usr/src and /usr/obj - make installkernel on the target machine (assuming buildkernel and installkernel targets still exist..) - copy out /usr/src/usr.sbin/mergemaster/mergemaster.sh to /usr/sbin/mergemaster (might not be needed) - reboot to single user and do the normal mergemaster -p; make installworld; mergemaster - reboot and hope for the best.
